Alumni Day 2008
Alumni Day, October 11 was a great success! For all of you who were unable to attend, we hope to see you at a future Alumni event.
The day started out with an open house at the school where alumni and their families enjoyed strolling up and down the halls looking
at sports photos and plaques. As alumni proudly pointed out their teams, they were met with responses such as," you really wore your
hair like that?" Coffee and pastries were served in the lobby where old yearbooks were displayed and enjoyed by the visitors.
The gym was set up for the dinner along with class posters. Numerous alumni took advantage of the open house.
Then off to the football games to watch Mercy's JV and Varsity victories over Tulelake. The games were very well attended by visiting
alumni and their families. Then back to the high school to share a BBQ dinner and more memories. The classes of 1988 and 1993 took
advantage of Alumni Weekend to hold their own class reunions.
It was wonderful to hear so many positive remarks and stories of how Mercy High School helped shaped their future. The friendships
they made at Mercy are still a part of their lives.
The alumni attending represented the classes from 1941 to 2008.
We thank all of you for attending, a strong alumni make for a stronger Mercy High School. GO WARRIORS!
